WELCOME TO MATCHWORN RUGBY JERSEYS!

This site is dedicated to my passion for collecting genuine matchworn rugby union jerseys. I can remember as a small child watching Wales play and being fascinated by the tradition of players swapping jerseys after a match. I remember the exact moment i first thought to myself "i want one of THOSE" and when i realised that i was not alone in this strange desire!

Though i initially collected programmes and other rugby souvenirs i never lost that feeling that i wanted to collect what cannot be bought in a shop!

I have been collecting seriously now for a number of years and amassed a collection in excess of 100 pieces. Having been frustrated to discover that most collections are imprisoned in bags and boxes at the back of cupboards or in attics, like mine, i have dedicated this site to displaying my collection for all the world to see.

I hope to make this site as interactive as possible and look forward to answering any questions or reading any feedback you wish to share with me or others.

One of the great joys (for me) as a player and a supporter has been visiting rugby clubs and seeing the pictures and jerseys on their walls. In the future I will be including sections on clubhouses as well as a section trying to track down some of the rarer distinctive jerseys from Centenary and other celebration games,as the site develops.
